Standing for the Planet

Happy New Year to YOU!!! :-) :-D ;-)

Below is my latest Vlog! I just finished spending my first few days of 2007 in Nashville with former Vice President Al Gore (yes, that's the back of my head... before my haircut!) and 200 brilliant people from across the globe who are all taking a big stand for the planet. We were trained by The Climate Project (www.theclimateproject.org) to deliver the slide show from the documentary "An Inconvenient Truth." It presents the science proving that global climate change IS happening - because of *human* impacts, educates audiences about how we can slow its progress, and illustrates the need to act NOW.

Hi, YOU!  :-)  If you haven't already replaced the incandescent lightbulbs in your home or apartment with compact fluorescents (swirls), do it this weekend!  Seriously!  Go to Wal-Mart and buy yourself some CFLs.  The money, electricity, and power plant emissions you can help reduce REALLY CAN make a difference and improve the world.  Check out this article for more info if you don't believe me, or if you just don't know what I'm talking about:
